Reading Counts is a program designed to help students improve their reading levels and love of reading. It is very similar to Accelerated Reader, that the feeder schools use.
Many teachers participate in Reading Counts. There are thousands of books available, and new titles are added weekly. Look for the purple call number, which indicates there is a Reading Counts quiz.
Students do not have to use the library's books. To look up a book title to see if there is a quiz, click on this link. Books must be at a student's appropriate reading level and something they have not previously read.
