Cougars, here are some troubleshooting tips for your Chromebooks. If this does not solve your problem, please call the Tech Hotline at (909) 946-8226. Leave a message with your name, phone number, your school name, and description of the problem.

If your Chromebook has a physical problem, such as a missing key or dead battery, you may come to the textbook window before/after school or at your lunch. Thank you.

To Change Language Setting

  1. At the bottom right, select the time.

  2. Select Settings. Advanced.

  3. In the "Languages and inputs" section, select Languages.

  4. To change your Chromebook's language, next to "Device language," select Change.

  5. Type or choose your preferred language.

  6. Select Confirm and restart.

Chromebook Lagging?

Close some of your tabs, especially ones that use a lot of power.

Try this.

Keys Typing
Wrong Letters?

Follow Powerwash directions.

Factory Reset didn't work? Chromebook frozen or crashed?
Try this.

  1. Turn off Chromebook, then turn back on.

  2. Wait a few minutes.

If many or all of your class cannot connect, your teacher needs to report it on the spreadsheet sent out by Mr. Bement and Dr. Berwick.
